The word “IoTelligence” captures the essence of our mission (a play on “IoT” + “Intelligence” for ML-driven IoT) : bringing intelligence to the Internet of Things. At IoTelligence Lab, we explore how to create seamless links between devices, networks, and people in an increasingly connected world.

Our research focuses on next-generation edge computing and wireless communication, where resource-constrained devices (IoT sensors and wearables) can communicate by leveraging the signals already in the environment. Rather than always generating their own transmissions, these devices can “talk” by reflecting, sensing, and reusing ambient signals from 5G, Wi-Fi, and beyond.

This approach drives us to tackle fundamental challenges in bi-directional ambient communication, energy-efficient networking, and ubiquitous sensing. By bridging the gap between high-performance infrastructure and ultra-low-power devices, we are redefining what connectivity can look like in the future.
